Chain Service

We run a full professional chain-cleaning protocol that consists of non-polar, citrus, polar and thermal stages to guarantee maximum wax adhesion and drivetrain performance.

1. Deep Cleaning (non-polar stage)

We remove factory grease or oil contamination using our safest non-polar solvent option.
This ensures complete removal of petroleum-based residues from Shimano, SRAM, KMC and Campagnolo chains.

2. Citrus / Bio Degreasing (polar stage)

Next stage uses bike-specific citrus cleaners (depending on contamination level).
This step emulsifies remaining residues and prepares metal surfaces for the final alcohol rinse.

3. Final Solvent Rinse (IPA 99%)

We use IPA 99%.
This stage removes water traces, degreaser surfactants and ensures full dehydration before waxing.

4. Drying protocol

We use compressed air, warm-air drying and controlled curing racks to guarantee a fully dry chain before waxing.
We monitor roller-movement and dryness before the chain goes into wax.

5. Hot Waxing

We use temperature-controlled wax pots (80–95°C, depending on wax type) and follow a strict curing process before returning the chain to the customer.

6. On-site diagnostics

Chains are inspected for wear (digital gauges), roller movement, corrosion points, and cassette/chainring compatibility.
