Getting a fully personalized 3D-printed saddle is a precise scientific process. Here is how we ensure the perfect fit for you at TCC Lab:
We begin with a detailed interview to understand your cycling profile. We discuss your typical terrain, weekly mileage, and any current discomfort or injury history. This helps us determine which Posedla model and customization level best suit your goals.
Before we finalize the design, we perform a gebioMized® Saddle Pressure Mapping session. By testing different saddle shapes and analyzing real-time data of how you sit, we find the optimal foundation for your custom Joyseat.
Once the model is chosen, we use the official Posedla Smiling Butt Kit. This biometric tool takes a precise impression of your sit bones and unique pelvic anatomy while you are in a seated position, capturing the data needed for 3D manufacturing.
Your biometric data and riding profile are sent to Posedla’s production facility. Your saddle is then 3D-printed with variable stiffness zones tailored specifically to your weight and pressure points. The manufacturing and delivery process typically takes 4 to 5 weeks.
Once your saddle arrives at TCC Lab, we invite you back for the final installation. We ensure the tilt, height, and fore/aft positions are perfect, so you can enjoy the immediate difference of a saddle made specifically for you.
